Blue Lagoon Ocean

I have never seen such a nice staff, everybody was super nice, hardworking and pleasant. I hope that hotel management treat them well, because they deserve it, they made this place so special. Resort was beautiful, it was clean everywhere and there was a lot of things to do (pools, playgrounds, fittness, spa, games, bikes rent, ....). Food was delicious and fresh. We enjoyed our holidays there, thank you!

Wow! Without a doubt the total 5 star experience. The staff were so friendly, the place was immaculate, and the swimming pools were beautiful. The room that we had, had a whirlpool, which was lovely. We then upgraded to a room with its own swimming pool, so lovely. The manager was so friendly, & so professional. The food in the restaurant was to die for! BEAUTIFUL, so tasty, Without a doubt the best holiday ever! The Manageress was wonderful, could not do any more to please us, she went above& beyond for us. Beautiful hotel, We arrived at lunch time and were greeted by the lovely receptionist who advised us of our room 5103. We were upgraded from a garden suite to a sea view apartment. The staff took us and our luggage on the golf buggy around the back of the complex. Our room was really central only a short walk to the restaurant, pool bar and reception. We were advised that lunch was served till 2.30pm and asked if we would like some pool towels that you could change at reception every few days. The room was lovely with a beautiful sea view. We were on the top floor (no furniture dragging noises) we overlooked the shared pool that the apartments below us had, only saw one person in this pool and it didn’t get much sunshine. Food was amazing such a variety. The restaurant staff were lovely and by the end of the week they knew our drink order. Pool bar had a good selection of drinks our favourite was the blue lagoon special cocktail, it had a slush top which was lovely in the heat. The drinks are not watered down we watched them pour the whisky and brandy cocktails and they were strong slip drinks. The staff would wait on you at the bar pool at night time. The entertainment was alright better than sitting in silence. The best nights were the circus night with the fire sticks and card tricks and illusionist and the dancers to the musical songs. Oh and the South American singer and dancers. You could take drinks to your room in a plastic beaker or a coffee to your room in a plastic cup and saucer. The maid service was good, cleaned daily and replaced the towels. Not always replaced the tea bags. The air con was ok, the lowest it would go was 20. It would turn itself on and off. However you could have the balcony door open with the big mesh across all night if hot and there wasn’t too much noise from the road / opposite hotel. We had a fantastic time here and would definitely recommend. We booked the 3 island cruise on a pirate ship with reception - 40 euros for all day with transport from the hotel and included lunch, great day out. We also booked with reception the trip to the volcano to visit the crater and experience the small narrow Greek streets of nykaros. The local bus service is good from the hotel opposite bus stop for 2 euros to kos town. If you buy the tickets at the bus station in kos town they are 1.50 euros. I didn’t see many taxis at all on Kos. The beach opposite was very stony but plenty of free sun beds and bottled water from the beach bar. Take sea shoes, great place to snorkel the fish were right by your feet. Best night / meal was the Al a carte meal, 5 courses, very attentive staff, amazing atmosphere, you felt like you had left the complex and was having an intimate dining experience.
